Warm light on a rhythmic facade at dusk

A visual journal of space

Light
lives
in between

Lumarivo observes how light changes a space, reveals material, and turns an ordinary moment into something memorable.

01 / Light

Good lighting does not fill a room. It leaves space for silence.

We notice light not when there is a lot of it, but when it is precise: sliding along a wall, gathering on a table, or gently marking a path.

Brightness is only part of a space. Contrast, direction, and pause create a sense of depth — something no single number can measure.

Light through the day

One light.
Different hours.

Morning calls for clarity; evening asks for softness. Rather than one universal setting, a space benefits from several simple layers: ambient, directional, and local light.

Material

Light always touches something.

Matte plaster diffuses it, stone reveals depth, glass multiplies reflections, and wood returns warmth. Light can never be chosen separately from the surface it meets.

01First, observe how daylight moves through the space.
02Reveal the material rather than the light source.
03Leave areas of darkness — they create depth.
03 / Lumarivo

Attention to what usually remains in the background.

Lumarivo is a visual project about light and space. It gathers observations that invite a closer look at everyday architecture: the rhythm of windows, reflections in glass, evening light across a wall.

We do not try to explain everything. Sometimes it is enough to pause and watch a space change over the course of a few minutes.
